So my lovely daughter Maya came home yesterday from her friend Kaylah's house, and we were talking about her being tired. Maya says "I ain't tired!" I looked at her and asked her what she just said. I couldn't believe that came out of her mouth!! Hello? We are not white trash!! I explained to her that Ain't isn't a word, and we left it at that.
This morning, as I was doing her lovely hair, she tells me "I ain't going to school today" That did it. I was not as nice to her this time, I told her we do not use that word in our house! And that is a word people use when they don't go to school!! I'm such a good mom...

Ashley! I can't tell you how fun it was to get on my blog and see that you had left a comment! I am so glad that you have a blog. It is so fun to stay in touch this way. Your kids are so BIG! I didn't realize that your baby is the same age as mine. Next time we're in town we'll have to get together! It's been forever!
